Tomamu Hokkaido Japan

We had an amazing stay. The venue in summer was stunning and the range of summer activities were fabulous. The staff go above and beyond and the food and beverages are excellent. We totally immersed ourselves in Club Med Tomamu and as a family destination it rates highly.

Everything about the Club Med experience in Tomamu is the best version of a family vacation. From the moment we arrived, the staff knew to expect us and could communicate bilingually both in English and Mandarin, and Logan, the GM, took the time to welcome us. After a smooth check-in process, we went to the courtyard where there were local snacks such as takoyaki and kids favorites (marshmallows!) with lively music. I even got to go on the flying trapeze!

On our first night, we had a medical emergency with our baby. The nurse and medical staff helped guide us through the process and checked in repeatedly throughout the following days to ensure there were no continuing issues.

Martin, specifically, helped arrange carry-out dinner and coordinated with reception to get us a taxi to the hospital.

The nurse prepared a note in the local language that we could present to the hospital staff to make the process smooth.

Owen (who we met previously in Phuket) was always pleasant when meeting us for breakfast and lunch.

Mai, the Family Manager, helped reassure us when we were nervous about our older child attending the Petit Club.

A special shoutout to Ayang (Googoogaga Teacher), Pristy, and Nanaka for making it a memorable trip for our son. So good, in fact, that he was willing to participate in the stage show!

What could have easily been an unpleasant experience following the medical emergency became a wonderful sojourn. Club Med is quickly becoming like a second family, and I've already started planning my next trip.

I had an amazing stay at Club Med Tomamu! The resort itself is surrounded by beautiful nature, the food was delicious, and there were so many activities to enjoy.

A huge thank you to Logan for leading such an incredible team and creating such a welcoming atmosphere. Special thanks as well to Ahmed, Ivo, Danny, Miyu, and Liz for their kindness, friendliness, and outstanding hospitality. Every one of them went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable.

The G.Os always made me feel included, and their energy and genuine care made the experience even more special. I truly felt at home from the moment I arrived.

I can’t wait to come back. Thank you all for the wonderful memories!
