Columbus Isle Bahamas

It was lovely.
Like in paradise.
Wonderful beach.
Food was delicious.
The chief of the village More was very nice.
Brianna and Briac from the sailingteam were very nice.
And Wes was a great DJ.
Amber and Ursula who worked in La Pinta were very nice, too.

Just got back from a week at Club Med
In the Bahamas. The beach at Columbus Isle and the gorgeous, warm, turquoise water were breathtaking. We never wanted to get out of the ocean because it was so calm and the temperature was so nice. We had a room facing the ocean, but honestly, we never stayed in the room that much and we didn’t even sit on our balcony one time due to the incredible ocean and spectacular blue water. Our bed was extremely comfortable and we loved having the separate closet and large bathroom. This was a very good value and I knew going in, we were not staying at the Ritz. So we did not expect anything over the top fancy, including hotel furniture or certain upgrades that are hard to complete due to being an isolated island. With this being said, we don’t have one single complaint. The scuba diving was some of the best we have seen with beautiful coral and blue wall drop offs. The dive team was truly top notch! My husband had a successful bonefish day while I did a spinning class that was awesome. I love the all-inclusive aspect of being able to get what you want whenever you want. The food was delicious and the vibe was very energetic. Totally loved the beach bar and the night performances, including the shows and the dance themes. It was so much fun that we cannot wait to go back. When you see this stretch of beach and the beautiful, sparkling, turquoise water, it will take your breath away, and you will certainly be glad that you did this Club Med trip. We didn’t have any expectations and we were pleasantly surprised. It’s hard to mention one single staff member because every single person was always smiling from the bartender to the food staff, GO crew, sports staff, reception,etc. I can honestly say the entire staff was exceptional. My husband and I have been fortunate to travel all over the world and trust me, this was one of our most beautiful destinations. You won’t be disappointed.

I was kind of worried of going into an old club med. But you stay most of the time outside, so you barely notice anything! We had a quite nice room, with a view of the beautiful ocean! The water is the clearest and blueest ive ever seen!! The one thing i loved the most, is the fact you always have something to do. Me and my family are quite active, so we were never bored in this club med. Tennis lessons, wingfoil, wakesurfing, sailing — all of these things were the most fun to do and filled our days! Me and my friends would spend the whole day wakeboarding, and it does get quite busy, but the experience is totally worth it. I had a huge improvement in my skills throughout the week and am very happy with the way i wake board now. A special thanks to GOs Thaís and Leandro, they are brazilian and really helped us connect with the others guest members, which were mostly french. These two GOs definitely made our experience better. In the last days I also got to now nairumi! (I dont know how to spell jer name), the other brazilian GO that lives in japan! She is also incredible! Me and my friends really want to come back here next here, and are excited to wakeboard again. Also, the food is very good! And i appreciated that is club med is smaller, therefore, it wasant as “claustrophobic” as some other club meds i went where you stay 10 minutes in a queue just to get frwnch fries. Thank you for the crew for this amazing stay!
