Kabira Ishigaki Japan

I came here twice, and everything is perfect. The warm hospitality from the staff and the amazing food (especially, thank you Benz and Meli!) , full of fresh local ingredients, were truly outstanding. We made the best memories here. We will definitely be back!

Club Med Kabira was amazing! The people 100% make the resort and what an incredible team they have there. Traveling with 2 ornery men (my husband and 80 yo dad) and a 2.5yo toddlersaurus was challenging to say the least, but then on top of that, this mama got sick, had to go to the hospital, and their team did everything they could to ensure I was ok. There were so many managers I met and checked on us and were just so kind and compassionate, I wish I remember all their names but I'm just not that smart.

Specifically:
Dining- what an amazing buffet. Something for EVERYONE.
Petit Club/Mini Club- my toddersaurus LOVED them. You know she's having an awesome time when at drop off the next day, she says bye and disappears into the crowd of teachers and kids.
Sports/facilities- Got to play ping-pong and archery with my 80 yo dad. Dad LOVED the gym facilities- great AC in the rooms and the equipment was super new and clean. Baby loved the pool, of course, as well as finding hermit crabs on the beach.
Boutique- ok, spent too much money but loved all the souvenirs we got to take home!
Shows- Good, and kept my toddler's attention, which is unheard of, especially as they were past her bedtime.
Circus team- Holy crap, I can't say enough about Saya, Saandy, Vicky, and Nana. Safety always being at the forefront, they were professional, but firm, and so encouraging. I had so much fun with them. They gave just the right amount of tidbits to adjust for each round, didn't overwhelm you with too many things to think about, and were just so much fun overall.
Room- a bit cold at night, we couldn't figure out the thermostat. Beds were a bit too firm for us but may be cultural. Otherwise, a very generous size, with the most efficient housekeeping team I've ever seen. Wish I could take them home with me.
I apologize if I forgot another service or group of people. The gratitude I feel can't be expressed, especially when we had to call for an ambulance/add a hospital visit to our stay :/. You have a club med addict for LIFE now. I can't believe this level of customer service even exists. Club med Kabira: Kudos to your team. Just. Wow. Thank you for making travel worth every moment.

Benz and Meli provided excellent service for our dinner. They did extra steps to make our trip memorable. Thanks to the team at Clib Med.

Not only is the resort situated on one of the most stunning beaches I’ve ever even in my life, but that is one of the less special things about it. The staff here is are some of the most kind, genuine, thoughtful people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Haily is the new CDV and she just radiates positivity and kindness. It was truly a pleasure to get to know her. We had met Meher last year in Malaysia and he remembered us and took incredible care of us while we were there. Dodo, Rey, and Edo on the sports team were so welcoming and fun to hang out with. I only got to meet Ribka my first day but she was so helpful making sure I got settled in on my first day. I met Toshiya 6 years ago in Bali and hadn’t seen him since, and it was like no time passed at all! He took great care of us. Hassan and his entire bar staff were amazing. They learned our drink preferences after less than a day, and would come up with amazing drinks if we didn’t know what we were the mood for. I have to give an extra special shoutout to the restaurant team. They took incredible care of us all week but took the time and effort to make a special dinner for us on our last night as a goodbye. A sincere thank you to Kosuke and Candraa on the restaurant team, and to chefs Hamida and Sachin for one of the best meals I’ve ever had! And last but certainly not least, a huge thank you to the housekeeping team. They made me different towel animals every day and left them in my room so I had an adorable zoo on my last day.
