Beidahu China

It was our 1st Holiday with Club Med. Why Beidahu? Oh well, Beidahu just popped up via my hubby's social media when he was searching for a Ski Trip. LOL...

A few friends shared that Club Med Holiday is a "Premium" and All-inclusive Vacation. The highlight is their Kids Club - where parents could "deposit" their children with a team of experienced staffs, to participate in the activities planned for the children. But, All "good" thing come with a price - usually higher :)

After 10 hrs of flight + 2 hrs of car ride, we had finally arrived at Club Med, Beidahu.
Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the front desk staffs. A staff was designated to introduce the place to us. After the welcome drinks and briefing, we were guided to our rooms.

We had booked 2 rooms (1 for ourselves, and 1 for our 2 boys). We were very pleased to know they had arranged both of our rooms nearby (just opposite each other). This really ease us to connect with our boys anytime and also, enjoy own privacy. Both rooms were spacious and clean.

After settled down, we head down to the Main Restaurant for dinner. A sumptuous buffet style dining, filled with Asian, Chinese and Western cuisines, cakes, desserts and ice cream, the boys were simply thrilled and spoiled with the wide spread. During our 6D stay, our dining experience was good. The dining hall was not overly crowded and their food menu change daily with some standard items and some special dishes. The Leads and GOs are always standing along the entrance to greet everyone. It was very warm and welcoming.

On our 1st Ski lesson, my hubby accidentally had a fall and injured his left arm. Club Med Medical Support Team had performed an immediate check on my hubby's arm condition and advised the need to do an X-ray and consult the doctor nearby. They had helped us to arrange the transport from Club Med to/forth hospital. A medic - Wang Peng Cheng had accompanied us throughout the hospital visit. He helped us with all the the local hospital registration and payment and gave us best medical recovery support. Thank You Mr. Wang for your kind gestures!

Both of our boys (14 yo and 9 yo) attended the Ski lesson on Day 1 and Snowboarding lesson on Day 2. After trial, they preferred Snowboarding hence they continue to learn Snowboarding on Day 3 onwards. The rental of Ski gears were easy and flexible. We were offered a 1 time - free change of gears (from Ski to Snowboarding). They boys had so much fun learning snowboarding progressively everyday.

We are very thankful and grateful for the personalized care and attention given to our 9 yo boy during his ski/snowboarding lesson. Knowing that the staffs here are well-trained to handle the children, we could really relax and enjoy our own activities. This is priceless to us, parents with younger children.

In Club Med, all the GOs / staffs are friendly, helpful, attentive and knowledgeable in their own professions. To our surprise, all the GOs also participated in the Shows and Performances at night. They are truly Talented comedians, magicians, singers, dancers, actors / actresses! We are so blessed to have them entertaining us every night!

Friendship was build during the trip. Thank you GO Lead Tatiana for the great leadership and hospitality, Dito for a very informative and personalized Snow Trekking experiences, and again, Wang Peng Cheng for taking good care of my injured hubby :) We are blessed to have you and your team!

Beidahu is definitely not our last with Club Med. Till we meet again - somewhere !

Our family really enjoyed our time at Club Med Beidahu. At Club Med everything ran well, and the staff were all super helpful. Special thank you to David for patiently sitting next to me for 20 minutes as a non wechat user to go through the lesson sign up for our family, and also Amir for teaching my child so well - my child had massive improvement over the course of a week.

There was a good range of food, rooms were clean and we appreciated the children amenities like baby toiletries and a plastic cup in the washroom for my child to brush teeth.

The resort had a good mix of trails for beginners to advanced. It definitely is cold though, so pack extra layers.

This was our second visit and we're thrilled to see how much the resort has improved since last season. The changes, both big and small, show that management truly listens to feedback and cares about the guest experience: for e.g. the food quality has taken a significant leap forward and simple operational changes like relocating the ski pass counter made things much more convenient for everyone.

The entire team deserves recognition for their professionalism and warmth. Every staff member we encountered was courteous, well-trained and impressively patient, even when dealing with challenging situations and difficult guests.

Tatiana, the village chief, absolutely embodies the Club Med spirit. She was literally everywhere: personally welcoming us at reception, cooking for the guests (the laksa was remarkably authentic given the ingredient limitations), mingling with families at dining tables, and participating in practically every evening show.

It's the personal touches that transformed a good vacation into a memorable one. Sharon remembered our customized drinks from previous days and would prepare them as soon as we sat down; Frankie was ever-present at reception and was always happy to answer our queries; our children absolutely adored the GOs: Peggy and Merry quickly became fan favorites, taking time to engage with the kids and make them feel like VIPs.

The ski instructors this year were notably more professional than our previous visit. Their expertise and patience made our ski outings genuinely pleasant. All of us, from beginners to intermediates, leveled up in our respective skills and gained confidence tackling more challenging slopes. This improvement alone would bring us back.

Amazed by the wonderful hospitality of the GO team headed by Tatiana, Maulana, Kerrie and Sharon. The constant engagement and vibrant energy from the team is doing a fantastic job.

On the ski group lessons, the beidahu hall is super nearby, rental place is greatly staff with A guy Black and Team. Ski and Snowboarding lessons is very well organised. Kiddos program is extremely well planned. We requested for English speaking instructor, and manage to get it the second time. Great foreign instructor crew who are so understanding and friendly. Thomas make the snowboarding so fun for my son! My younger son enjoy the skii kids club program a lot too. Well planned with meals, entertainment and skii class.

Retail floor is managed very well by Jeane as we rented our ski clothes.

We just ended our family vacation from Club Med BDH, and I would thanks the incredible G.O. team who made our stay absolutely perfect.

From the moment we arrived until the minute we left, the level of service across every department was great and it was good to see some of previous G.O from our previous trip this time round as well.

‍️The hot onsen experience for pure relaxation and it was the perfect place to unwind after a long day of ski. The kids also enjoy their time there, especially with the playground facility too.

Rental at ski pro shop: Smooth and seamless collection of equipment, particularly thankful to Rosen. He made the process of organizing our equipment for the kids and my spouse incredibly smooth and easy. Everything was handled with efficiency and a consistently positive attitude.

‍️The wholesome kids' activities by the dedicated G.O.s m! Our children had the time of their lives and were delighted to join the performance night. Specially thanks to Emma for the morning ski lesson, Haha for the kids activities in the evening, and Tatiana, the wonderful GM that showed genuine enthusiasm, and care for the kids, especially when they were fussing around. It was a phenomenal experience for them and love at first sight for the Rumi cosplay in the night. Knowing they were having so much fun in a safe environment allowed us parents to truly relax and enjoy our own time to ski leisurely.

Finally, a huge appreciation for the G.O.s responsible for our stay. Sandy who help to liaise our stay even before our trip started, Becky who handled our check in seamlessly, and Frankie, our old friend from Yabuli who never fail to deliver. The dining experiences were fantastic as usual, and every interaction with the staff, from housekeeping to restaurant servers, was warm and welcoming.

A memorable trip once again thanks to the passion and hard work of the entire G.O. team. I can't wait to come back again to ski once again!
