Eligibility:
Entry is open to Australian & New Zealand residents only, whom are 18 years of age or older. Employees and their immediate families (spouse, defacto spouse, parent, child or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) of Club Med Pacific (Australia or New Zealand) as well as associated travel agencies and companies are not eligible to enter. Entrants must not be discovered to have breached these Terms and Conditions, and Club Med reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Each entrant acknowledges that Club Med can rely on these Terms and Conditions even if Club Med only learns of an entrant’s ineligibility to enter after the prize has been awarded to the ineligible entrant.
The competition commences on 29/09/2021 at 10:00 (AEST) and concludes on 31/10/2021 at 23:59 (AEDT). Entries recorded before or after these times will not be eligible and will not go into the draw to win.
Entry:
In order to enter participants can follow one of two methods:
Sign up to the Club Med Australian or New Zealand newsletter through the specified social media ad and provide their first and last name as well as their email address. Entrants can only register once, with multiple entries removed.
Follow the Club Med AU & NZ @ClubMedAustralia Facebook page, like the specified competition post and tag in the comments for the post who they would like to take on an ultimate destination holiday with to celebrate a missed milestone. Entrants can only register once, with multiple entries removed.
Entrants can only participate in one of the two methods above. Entrants who enter across both methods will have one removed from the list of eligibility. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid. Club Med accepts no responsibility for any incorrect, incomplete or lost entries. Club Med accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries including entries not received by Club Med, or delays in the delivery of the entry due to technical issues. Club Med reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant whose entry is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who otherwise tampers with the entry process.
Prize:
The competition prize is 1x 7-night stay in 1x Club Med’s Albion Villa, in Mauritius for 6 people. People configuration can be any number of adults or children to the limit of 6 persons. Prize must be taken as a one holiday for all 6 people only. If less than 6 people are included in the holiday, then these person/s will be forfeited and will not be entitled to an additional holiday. This prize also includes the following bonuses: 1x glass of champagne on arrival for all guests, 1x celebration cake, 1x event planner based in Sydney and 10% group discounts on Spa and Excursions. This prize excludes flights and transfers as well as items outside the Club Med all-inclusive package including, but not limited to extras (e.g. excursions, food and drink outside of the all-inclusive package, tourist cards or visas costs, spa treatments, private sport lessons as well as purchases at the Club Med resort boutique). Value of prize is limited to the description in competition terms and conditions and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or any other prize. The maximum value of this prize is AUD $26,3000 including GST.
The winner of this prize will have up-until December 2023 to book and depart on their holiday. Extensions to this departure date will not be granted. The date of departure and the destination chosen are final and definitive when registration has been accepted by Club Med. No modifications to the date of departure and/or the destination by the winner will be accepted when the registration has been made. If the prize winner registers and confirms their departure date and for any reason cancels the reservation, the holiday cannot be deferred and cannot be recouped. Requests to confirm a date of departure can only be made between 6 month and 3 weeks of departure. Requests for specific dates of departure are subject to systematic study of availability. If the resort or the dates requested are not available, Club Med will make an offer to the winner, depending on availability, alternative services (date change for the same resort/ change of resort/the same date or change of date and resort/ or extension of the validity of the prize). If, prior to the departure, Club Med simply cancels the winner's holiday, for any reason as stipulated by the provisions of the general conditions of sale applicable to the holiday concerned, the winner will be offered alternative services, unless circumstances of force majeure apply. Cancellation of the holiday and the alternative choices offered will be notified to the winner by Club Med by phone and/or any other means available to Club Med. Cancellations do not entail any rights other than those already stipulated (alternative services), and no refunds of packages or compensation will be forthcoming after a cancellation.
Claim:
The prize winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries submitted during the competition period by a representative of Club Med in NSW on 9/11/2021 at 15:00 (AEST). The prize winner will be contacted via email and social media by a representative of Club Med on 10/11/2021. Their details will also be published on the Club Med Australia and Club Med New Zealand website pages for 30 days. The prize winner will have 30 days from this date to claim their prize. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to provide their contact details and claim their prize, as instructed by a representative of Club Med. If any prize remains unclaimed, the winner forfeits all rights to the prize won and will result in forfeiture of the prize in total. Club Med will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss or claim, damages, costs and expenses suffered, sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential) as a result of, or arising out of, or in any way connected) with this promotion and/or its prizes that may occur: a) during the draw; b) in the participation in any prize; c) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected email; d) on holiday while claiming the prize or e) due to circumstances outside the promoter’s reasonable control.
Club Med’s decision is final, and no correspondence or communication will be entered in relation to the selection of the winners or any other aspect of this competition. If for any reason the competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes but not limited infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Club Med reserves the right to forgo the competition. Club Med also reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.

Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. Club Med is collecting your personal information for the purpose of conducting and promoting this Competition, including for the purpose of identifying and notifying winners and understanding our audiences. Club Med will otherwise handle your personal information in accordance with Club Med’s Privacy Policy which is available on Club Med’s website at www.clubmed.com.au and www.clubmed.co.nz
and which contains information regarding how you can access your personal information, correct it and/ or make a complaint about our handling of your personal information. By providing your personal information, you agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy. Without limiting the foregoing, Club Med may disclose the entrant’s personal information to its related entities, business partners and external service providers for research and profiling purposes as well as other purposes reasonably related to the entrant’s relationship with Club Med. In addition, by entering this competition, you consent to Club Med using your personal information for the purpose of Club Med and its related entities sending you information regarding offers & promotions, as well as products and resort news and services available through them and/ or through their business partners. Club Med will not share your personal data with any third parties. Club Med always provides you with the ability to opt out of those communications.
