Bodrum Palmiye Turkey

Another amazing time at Bodrum. As usual everything was perfect. The location superb. The village is well kept, the grounds are such a pleasure to walk through especially early morning just as everyone is waking up there is the chance to walk along the beautiful beach before it gets too busy. The beach and especially the sunset bar and the Halikarnas restaurant are fantastic. In the main restaurant the food is delicious. Maybe a little more choice for vegetarians would be appreciated. Good to see Serdar back in control as restaurant manager. The bar staff always remember your favourite drinks!
Laurene was my contact and kept in touch by WhatsApp if I didn't see her around, always busy but always there to help if needed. Boris was the perfect CDV and DJ often to be seen and very chatty. Even to the English speaking with makes a good change Gwendola - sorry about the spelling certainly seems to be on her way to be a great CDV.
I didn't do any of the fitness classes this time just to lazy! The gym itself is well equipped and just enough to stop total laziness and too many kilos piling on.
The spa was headed by a super manager and my massage was one of the best. Also the complimentary massages beside the pool were not to be missed.
Will be back next year. I think for the 16th time

We had an amazing time at Club Med Bodrum! It's a beautiful resort with a lovely private beach. The food was exceptional! We really looked forward to every meal!! The staff were very friendly and professional. The evening entertainment exceeded my expectations. There were a lot of guests (mainly French), but it always felt peaceful and never felt busy. Our room was a good size and very clean. One slight criticism of the room is that, because of the layout, it was quite dark. We had to use the lights all the time, even during the day. The hotel is in a great location, in a quiet area about 20 minutes drive from Bodrum Town. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel that takes you to Bodrum Town for 2 euros. You can also get a taxi for about 15 euros. The town is well worth a visit. We booked a tour of Bodrum Town through the hotel. It was a good tour, stopping at various historical sites including the Castle and we had time to do some shopping. My one criticism was that the guide only spoke French and, since we don't speak French, we weren't able to get the most out of the tour. The hotel also organises morning hikes, which we did once. It takes about 2 hours and we stopped at a beautiful viewing point overlooking the sea. Fortunately, the guide was able to speak English as well as French...

Overall, we loved our time at Club Med Bodrum and would highly recommend it!!

This was such an enjoyable couples holiday. The G.O. team were fantastic and contributed in spades to my overall enjoyment of the holiday. The resort is beautiful and I enjoyed exploring the local nature trails with G.O. Camille who leads the walks. The boat trips were excellent, a chill way to spend a couple of hours. Snorkeling is also possible and rewarding without needing to go anywhere.
The gardens are beautifully maintained and the staff all seemed to care for the environment and the odd cat. There are squirrels and some tortoises who sometimes appeared from nowhere for a shower when the sprinklers came on!
The food and drink was really good - plenty of choice and some really delicious and varied dishes at every meal. The only problem is trying not to overeat! We didn’t drink the table wine but the other inclusive drinks were all very good.
Overall this was a great and memorable holiday; we may well return next year.

This is our fourth visit to Club Med Bodrum and again we had the most lovely relaxing time. The food as always was Delicious!! The resort is immaculately clean and tidy, all staff working so hard in the hot sunshine.
We had a wonderful evening meal at the Halikarnas restaurant.
Staff are all so helpful, special mentions to Abdul Kadir and Jakobb who looked after us so well at mealtimes.
Special shout out to Camille and his refereeing skills on the Pétanque court!!!

The water sports team is absolutely fantastic.
Selcuk, Eric, Sasha, Salahe, Sebastien, they are all amazing. Sailing is the main reason why we choose Club Med and the team truly were the center-point of our experience and the main reason why we would go back. The equipment is very good and really well-maintained.

The bar staff is also great. Always attentive, always kind, made us feel at home. Incredible service all around.

The only major negative feedback we have is the lack of smoke-free areas. We could not enjoy our meals without someone smoking next to us, and we had already complained about this back in 2023 but it has not improved at all. There are no smoke-free outdoor areas in the restaurants, which is simply ridiculous. This is extremely important for non-smokers and we heard a lot of other guests complaining about this. It is even a health concern given my wife is pregnant (which was clearly evident by her belly) and this didn't seem to matter. We mentioned this to Boris (Chef de Village) but he was not helpful at all; he dismissed our feedback and said we could eat inside. To be honest, we have been happier with other Chefs de Village.

Food is generally very good and with decent variety. The only items to point out here were during breakfast: the scrambled eggs are powder mix-based instead of made with actual eggs, the pressed orange juice tasted fermented and just wrong every single day, which was really a shame. Lastly, the fruit during meals was served/displayed visibly dirty and clearly unwashed, which is a bit of a concern for pregnant women.
