Discover the south coast, swimming and snorkelling; laze in the sun after a crayfish lunch on board.
You may be lucky enough to spot the dolphins in Tamarin Bay during this unforettable trip!

Mauritius is a great destination for big game fishing. You'll find species such as the blue or black spearfish, shark, basking shark, barracuda, becune (type of shark) and bonito. The west coast currents bring the fish up, making the waters around the island ideal for fishing. Expedition that combines sport with luck and adventure, in comfortable boats equipped to comply with IGFA standards.

Blue Bay (1 day)

After sailing over the turquoise waters of the lagoon on the south east coast, you'll discover two small islands with charming names: L'Ile de la Passe and L'ile au Phare.
You'll dive in the blue waters of Trou Mouton where the fabulous variety of exotic fish will give you a foretaste of what Blue Bay Marine Park has in store (it's one of the most beautiful aquatic parks in the world). After your dive, you'll be treated to a lunch of grilled crayfish, fish, chicken and salads.
A wonderful day of lazing, swimming and fascinating visits.

Blue Bay Grand Luxe (1 day)

This real Luxury Day begins with a ride out on a speedboat to Blue Bay Marine Park. You'll spend time on l'Ile au Phare where you can do some snorkelling (equipment on loan), and admire the beauty of Eau Bleue. Tide permitting, you can stop over on the Ile aux Flamands, before visitng the Grand Sud Est waterfall. Lunch on l'Ile aux Cerfs, where you'll have time to swim or stroll, before diving in the blue waters of Trou Mouton. The day ends at l'Ile aux Aigrettes, where you can enjoy the spectacle of the sun setting behind the mountains.

Deer Island (1 day)

After a bus ride to the east coast, you'll be taken up river in a motor boat to admire the Grande Rivière Sud-Est waterfalls.
Next stop, the Ile aux Cerfs (Deer Island), where you can snorkel in the lagoon at Eau Bleue and admire the fabulous colours of the water. Lunch on board (seafood, chicken and fish kebabs and grilled crayfish), serenaded by local musicians.
Enjoy free time to walk or swim on the island.

L'Ile Plate (The Governor's House) (1 day)

From Club Med La Pointe aux Cannoniers, you'll be taken on a sumptous catamaran out to the "Ile Plate" (The Governor's House), a secluded island a few nautical miles north of Mauritius. The island is a beautifully tranquil site where you'll spend an incredible moment, suspended in time. Lunch at a small, intimist and exclusive gastronomic restaurant within an ancient historic building that is part of national heritage. The restaurant is just 100 metres from a fabulous beach, in the middle of totally unspoilt nature. A fabulously relaxing day dedicated to total relaxation and swimming in a turquoise blue lagoon full of exotic fish.

Mauritian colours (1 day)

Recommended by our Discovery centre.
The perfect excursion to discover the magic of Mauritius.
Visit the Eureka colonial house and a model boat factory. Admire the Trou aux Cerfs, a former volcano over 300 metres in diametre, and the Black River Gorges. Visit the celebrated Bathfield anthurium plantation, the Hindu temples and the sacred lake. After lunch in an idyllic setting, admire Chamarel, with its waterfalls and sands of 7 colours.

Port Louis by bus (1/2-day)

Visit the Pamplemousse Botanical Gardens with their hundred-year-old trees and rare plant species, before returning to stroll through the streets of Port Louis and enjoy the colourful local market.

Port Louis by boat (1/2 day)

A pleasant boat trip along the coast. Discover the covered market in Port Louis and the sea front shopping mall, the Caudan. Free time to stroll or shop.

Quad-biking Safari in the "Casela" animal reserve

Every day, subject to availability (single or two-seater quads)
Ride a quad-bike through the Yemen nature reserve, with its deer, zebras and ostriches, and enjoy breathtaking views over the Indian Ocean and the surrounding plantations.
The route you will take respects the reserve's environmental rules and regulations. The excursion may also be proposed with a buggy or a segway in place of the quad.

Excursion not recommended for people with back problems or expectant mothers.

Tailor-made excursions

To satisfy your curiosity and discover the most unusual and little-known sites (focus on culture, architecture, eco-tourism, etc), hire a yacht or private car with chauffeur; enjoy a helicopter flight or sunset cruise. Depending on the season, you can watch horse racing or visit the Medine sugar estate and its distillery.
